  레위기 13:29~37   Leviticus 13:29~37
29 남자나 여자의 머리에나 수염에 환부가 있으면 29 'If a man or woman has a sore on the head or on the chin,
30 제사장은 진찰할지니 환부가 피부보다 우묵하고 그 자리에 누르스름하고 가는 털이 있으면 그가 그를 부정하다 할 것은 이는 옴이니라 머리에나 수염에 발생한 나병임이니라 30 the priest is to examine the sore, and if it appears to be more than skin deep and the hair in it is yellow and thin, the priest shall pronounce that person unclean; it is an itch, an infectious disease of the head or chin.
31 만일 제사장이 보기에 그 옴의 환부가 피부보다 우묵하지 아니하고 그 자리에 검은 털이 없으면 제사장은 그 옴 환자를 이레 동안 가두어둘 것이며 31 But if, when the priest examines this kind of sore, it does not seem to be more than skin deep and there is no black hair in it, then the priest is to put the infected person in isolation for seven days.
32 이레 만에 제사장은 그 환부를 진찰할지니 그 옴이 퍼지지 아니하고 그 자리에 누르스름한 털이 없고 피부보다 우묵하지 아니하면 32 On the seventh day the priest is to examine the sore, and if the itch has not spread and there is no yellow hair in it and it does not appear to be more than skin deep,
33 그는 모발을 밀되 환부는 밀지 말 것이요 제사장은 옴 환자를 또 이레 동안 가두어둘 것이며 33 he must be shaved except for the diseased area, and the priest is to keep him in isolation another seven days.
34 이레 만에 제사장은 그 옴을 또 진찰할지니 그 옴이 피부에 퍼지지 아니하고 피부보다 우묵하지 아니하면 그는 그를 정하다 할 것이요 그는 자기의 옷을 빨아서 정하게 되려니와 34 On the seventh day the priest is to examine the itch, and if it has not spread in the skin and appears to be no more than skin deep, the priest shall pronounce him clean. He must wash his clothes, and he will be clean.
35 깨끗한 후에라도 옴이 크게 피부에 퍼지면 35 But if the itch does spread in the skin after he is pronounced clean,
36 제사장은 그를 진찰할지니 과연 옴이 피부에 퍼졌으면 누른 털을 찾을 것 없이 그는 부정하니라 36 the priest is to examine him, and if the itch has spread in the skin, the priest does not need to look for yellow hair; the person is unclean.
37 그러나 제사장이 보기에 옴이 여전하고 그 자리에 검은 털이 났으면 그 옴은 나았고 그 사람은 정하니 제사장은 그를 정하다 할지니라 37 If, however, in his judgment it is unchanged and black hair has grown in it, the itch is healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
