What have they done in the rest of the king's provinces? Now what is your petition? It will be given you. What is your request? It will also be granted."
13 ¿¡½º´õ°¡ À̸£µÇ ¿ÕÀÌ ¸¸ÀÏ ÁÁ°Ô ¿©±â½Ã¸é ¼ö»ê¿¡ »ç´Â À¯´ÙÀεéÀÌ ³»Àϵµ ¿À´Ã Á¶¼­´ë·Î ÇàÇÏ°Ô ÇϽðí Çϸ¸ÀÇ ¿­ ¾ÆµéÀÇ ½Ãü¸¦ ³ª¹«¿¡ ¸Å´Þ°Ô ÇϼҼ­ ÇÏ´Ï 13 "If it pleases the king," Esther answered, "give the Jews in Susa permission to carry out this day's edict tomorrow also, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged on gallows."
14 ¿ÕÀÌ ±×´ë·Î ÇàÇϱ⸦ Çã¶ôÇÏ°í Á¶¼­¸¦ ¼ö»ê¿¡ ³»¸®´Ï Çϸ¸ÀÇ ¿­ ¾ÆµéÀÇ ½Ãü°¡ ¸Å´Þ¸®´Ï¶ó 14 So the king commanded that this be done. An edict was issued in Susa, and they hanged the ten sons of Haman.
15 ¾Æ´Þ¿ù ½Ê»çÀÏ¿¡µµ ¼ö»ê¿¡ ÀÖ´Â À¯´ÙÀÎÀÌ ¸ð¿© ¶Ç »ï¹é ¸íÀ» ¼ö»ê¿¡¼­ µµ·úÇ쵂 ±×µéÀÇ Àç»ê¿¡´Â ¼ÕÀ» ´ëÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°í 15 The Jews in Susa came together on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they put to death in Susa three hundred men, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
16 ¿ÕÀÇ °¢ Áö¹æ¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ´Ù¸¥ À¯´ÙÀεéÀÌ ¸ð¿© ½º½º·Î »ý¸íÀ» º¸È£ÇÏ¿© ´ëÀûµé¿¡°Ô¼­ ¹þ¾î³ª¸ç ÀÚ±âµéÀ» ¹Ì¿öÇÏ´Â ÀÚ Ä¥¸¸ ¿Àõ ¸íÀ» µµ·úÇ쵂 ±×µéÀÇ Àç»ê¿¡´Â ¼ÕÀ» ´ëÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó 16 Meanwhile, the remainder of the Jews who were in the king's provinces also assembled to protect themselves and get relief from their enemies. They killed seventy-five thousand of them but did not lay their hands on the plunder.
17 ¾Æ´Þ¿ù ½Ê»ïÀÏ¿¡ ±× ÀÏÀ» ÇàÇÏ¿´°í ½Ê»çÀÏ¿¡ ½¬¸ç ±× ³¯¿¡ ÀÜÄ¡¸¦ º£Ç®¾î Áñ°å°í 17 This happened on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy.
18 ¼ö»ê¿¡ »ç´Â À¯´ÙÀεéÀº ½Ê»ïÀÏ°ú ½Ê»çÀÏ¿¡ ¸ð¿´°í ½Ê¿ÀÀÏ¿¡ ½¬¸ç ÀÌ ³¯¿¡ ÀÜÄ¡¸¦ º£Ç®¾î Áñ±äÁö¶ó 18 The Jews in Susa, however, had assembled on the thirteenth and fourteenth, and then on the fifteenth they rested and made it a day of feasting and joy.
19 ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ½Ã°ñÀÇ À¯´ÙÀÎ °ð ¼ºÀÌ ¾ø´Â °íÀ»°íÀ»¿¡ »ç´Â ÀÚµéÀÌ ¾Æ´Þ¿ù ½Ê»çÀÏÀ» ¸íÀý·Î »ï¾Æ ÀÜÄ¡¸¦ º£Ç®°í Áñ±â¸ç ¼­·Î ¿¹¹°À» ÁÖ´õ¶ó 19 That is why rural Jews-those living in villages-observe the fourteenth of the month of Adar as a day of joy and feasting, a day for giving presents to each other.
