1 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ Á¦ÀÚ¸¦ »ï°í ¼¼·Ê¸¦ º£Çª½Ã´Â °ÍÀÌ ¿äÇѺ¸´Ù ¸¹´Ù ÇÏ´Â ¸»À» ¹Ù¸®»õÀεéÀÌ µéÀº ÁÙÀ» ÁÖ²²¼­ ¾Æ½ÅÁö¶ó 1 The Pharisees heard that Jesus was gaining and baptizing more disciples than John,
2 (¿¹¼ö²²¼­ Ä£È÷ ¼¼·Ê¸¦ º£Çª½Å °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä Á¦ÀÚµéÀÌ º£Ç¬ °ÍÀ̶ó) 2 although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples.
3 À¯´ë¸¦ ¶°³ª»ç ´Ù½Ã °¥¸±¸®·Î °¡½Ç»õ 3 When the Lord learned of this, he left Judea and went back once more to Galilee.

9 »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ ¿©ÀÚ°¡ À̸£µÇ ´ç½ÅÀº À¯´ëÀÎÀ¸·Î¼­ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© »ç¸¶¸®¾Æ ¿©ÀÚÀÎ ³ª¿¡°Ô ¹°À» ´Þ¶ó ÇϳªÀ̱î ÇÏ´Ï ÀÌ´Â À¯´ëÀÎÀÌ »ç¸¶¸®¾ÆÀΰú »óÁ¾ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÔÀÌ·¯¶ó 9 The Samaritan woman said to him, 'You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?' (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
10 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© À̸£½ÃµÇ ³×°¡ ¸¸ÀÏ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¼±¹°°ú ¶Ç ³×°Ô ¹° Á» ´Þ¶ó ÇÏ´Â ÀÌ°¡ ´©±¸ÀÎ ÁÙ ¾Ë¾Ò´õ¶ó¸é ³×°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô ±¸ÇÏ¿´À» °ÍÀÌ¿ä ±×°¡ »ý¼ö¸¦ ³×°Ô ÁÖ¾úÀ¸¸®¶ó 10 Jesus answered her, 'If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.'
11 ¿©ÀÚ°¡ À̸£µÇ ÁÖ¿© ¹° ±æÀ» ±×¸©µµ ¾ø°í ÀÌ ¿ì¹°Àº ±íÀºµ¥ ¾îµð¼­ ´ç½ÅÀÌ ±× »ý¼ö¸¦ ¾ò°Ú»ç¿É³ªÀ̱î 11 'Sir,' the woman said, 'you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water?
12 ¿ì¸® Á¶»ó ¾ß°öÀÌ ÀÌ ¿ì¹°À» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁÖ¼Ì°í ¶Ç ¿©±â¼­ ÀÚ±â¿Í Àڱ⠾Ƶéµé°ú Áü½ÂÀÌ ´Ù ¸¶¼Ì´Âµ¥ ´ç½ÅÀÌ ¾ß°öº¸´Ù ´õ Å©´ÏÀ̱î 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?'
13 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© À̸£½ÃµÇ ÀÌ ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã´Â ÀÚ¸¶´Ù ´Ù½Ã ¸ñ¸¶¸£·Á´Ï¿Í 13 Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,
14 ³»°¡ ÁÖ´Â ¹°À» ¸¶½Ã´Â ÀÚ´Â ¿µ¿øÈ÷ ¸ñ¸¶¸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®´Ï ³»°¡ ÁÖ´Â ¹°Àº ±× ¼Ó¿¡¼­ ¿µ»ýÇϵµ·Ï ¼Ú¾Æ³ª´Â »ù¹°ÀÌ µÇ¸®¶ó 14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'
