| 여호수아 6:22~27 | Joshua 6:22~27 | ||
| 22 | 여호수아가 그 땅을 정탐한 두 사람에게 이르되 그 기생의 집에 들어가서 너희가 그 여인에게 맹세한 대로 그와 그에게 속한 모든 것을 이끌어 내라 하매 | 22 | Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, "Go into the prostitute's house and bring her out and all who belong to her, in accordance with your oath to her." |
| 23 | 정탐한 젊은이들이 들어가서 라합과 그의 부모와 그의 형제와 그에게 속한 모든 것을 이끌어 내고 또 그의 친족도 다 이끌어 내어 그들을 이스라엘의 진영 밖에 두고 | 23 | So the young men who had done the spying went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother and brothers and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and put them in a place outside the camp of Israel. |
| 24 | 무리가 그 성과 그 가운데에 있는 모든 것을 불로 사르고 은금과 동철 기구는 여호와의 집 곳간에 두었더라 | 24 | Then they burned the whole city and everything in it, but they put the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron into the treasury of the LORD's house. |
| 25 | 여호수아가 기생 라합과 그의 아버지의 가족과 그에게 속한 모든 것을 살렸으므로 그가 오늘까지 이스라엘 중에 거주하였으니 이는 여호수아가 여리고를 정탐하려고 보낸 사자들을 숨겼음이었더라 | 25 | But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho-and she lives among the Israelites to this day. |
| 26 | 여호수아가 그 때에 맹세하게 하여 이르되 누구든지 일어나서 이 여리고 성을 건축하는 자는 여호와 앞에서 저주를 받을 것이라 그 기초를 쌓을 때에 그의 맏아들을 잃을 것이요 그 문을 세울 때에 그의 막내아들을 잃으리라 하였더라 | 26 | At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: 'Cursed before the LORD is the man who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: 'At the cost of his firstborn son will he lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest will he set up its gates.' |
| 27 | 여호와께서 여호수아와 함께 하시니 여호수아의 소문이 그 온 땅에 퍼지니라 | 27 | So the LORD was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land. |
