  누가복음 12:1~12   Luke 12:1~12
1 그 동안에 무리 수만 명이 모여 서로 밟힐 만큼 되었더니 예수께서 먼저 제자들에게 말씀하여 이르시되 바리새인들의 누룩 곧 외식을 주의하라 1 Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: 'Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 감추인 것이 드러나지 않을 것이 없고 숨긴 것이 알려지지 않을 것이 없나니 2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
3 이러므로 너희가 어두운 데서 말한 모든 것이 광명한 데서 들리고 너희가 골방에서 귀에 대고 말한 것이 지붕 위에서 전파되리라 3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
4 내가 내 친구 너희에게 말하노니 몸을 죽이고 그 후에는 능히 더 못하는 자들을 두려워하지 말라 4 'I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.
5 마땅히 두려워할 자를 내가 너희에게 보이리니 곧 죽인 후에 또한 지옥에 던져 넣는 권세 있는 그를 두려워하라 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 그를 두려워하라 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.
6 참새 다섯 마리가 두 앗사리온에 팔리는 것이 아니냐 그러나 하나님 앞에는 그 하나도 잊어버리시는 바 되지 아니하는도다 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
7 너희에게는 심지어 머리털까지도 다 세신 바 되었나니 두려워하지 말라 너희는 많은 참새보다 더 귀하니라 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
8 내가 또한 너희에게 말하노니 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 인자도 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 그를 시인할 것이요 8 'I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God.
9 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하는 자는 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 부인을 당하리라 9 But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.
10 누구든지 말로 인자를 거역하면 사하심을 받으려니와 성령을 모독하는 자는 사하심을 받지 못하리라 10 And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
11 사람이 너희를 회당이나 위정자나 권세 있는 자 앞에 끌고 가거든 어떻게 무엇으로 대답하며 무엇으로 말할까 염려하지 말라 11 'When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,
12 마땅히 할 말을 성령이 곧 그 때에 너희에게 가르치시리라 하시니라 12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.'
